The Infor CRM web client comes pre-built with 5 different language configurations: English, German, French, Italian, and Russian.  This means that if your local computer or browser is configured to use one of the Languages, all of the labels in the standard screens will be translated to that language.

Defining your language is based on either the OS or your browser.

When you install your browser it configures itself based on your local computers Regional Location setting from the Control Panel.

For Internet Explorer and Safari, these browser look at your OS to determine what Culture the Browser should use.  So if your computer is set to have the location of Italy under the control panel, your IE or Safari web clients will automatically pick this up and translate your web pages as appropriate.

For Chrome and Firefox, the Browser has its Language definition hard coded when you install the browser.  If you later want to change your Language settings, you only need to configure the browser settings.  You don’t really need to configure the Computers, Location.

If Firefox you can set this by going to the Options area.  Select the Content tab.  Then in the Languages area, select “Choose”  You will be presented with a sorted list.

The Browser will use the top most selection first and attempt to display web sites localized based on that.

For Chrome you can set this by going to chrome://settings/languages in the address bar.

The results is an exotic new look to Infor CRM:
